A morning with no screens

Four hours of an ordinary Tuesday, unedited except for the boring parts.

From waking to about eleven, with nothing lit. I expected this to feel virtuous and it mostly felt slow, which turned out to be the finding.

What is in it

  1. 00:20 Waking without checking anything.
  2. 02:00 The first hour, which was difficult.
  3. 04:30 Where the time actually went.
  4. 06:50 What I did at eleven o'clock, immediately.

Made with

  • A fixed camera
  • One 35mm lens
  • A kitchen
A foggy field with a path running through it
The walk, which was not planned and became the point.

I have done this about six times since and never once on purpose.
