A mortise being cut, filmed at 120 frames a second and played back at a quarter speed. There is no commentary because the sound is the whole reason the film exists.

- A high frame rate and a very bright window
- One 50mm lens
- A borrowed contact microphone

Ellen made this cut about four hundred times the week I was there. This is the only one I filmed.
